 మొగ్గలన్ని వాడిపోయి మాయమైపోయయి 

నేను మాత్రం ముళ్ళపై   నడుస్తు నా రక్తపు 

పాదల అడుగుల్లో ఆమె రూపాన్ని చూస్తున్నా 

ఓ ప్రియా అందమైన నీ ఒర కంటి చూపుతో 

నా మనసును దొచావు  నిలువెత్తని నీ వయ్యరంతో 

నా  మనసులో  కరగని ఓ తీపి ముద్ర వెసావు 

కంటికి  కనబడని మన ప్రేమ మన ఇద్దరి  మనసులకు 

మాత్రమె కనబడుతుంది ప్రియా !

కంటికి వెలుగు  కరువాయె 

చెట్టుకు ఆకులు కరువయె 

పెదవులకు చిరునవ్వు కరువయె  

నా మనసుకు నీవే కరువయె 

ప్రకృతి వైపరిత్యల వల్ల  పూవ్వు పుష్పింపబడదు 

మనసు లేని అమ్మాయిని ప్రేమించడం వల్ల ప్రయోజనం  లేదు

ఆకాశపు మేఘలపై విరిసే  నీ చిరునవ్వు ఇంద్ర దనూష్ను తాకిన నీ పరిమళం 

కనుసైగతో నా మనసుకు దగ్గర అయ్యావు 

నీ కాలిని తాకినా ఇసుక రేణువుల అదృష్టం నాకు దక్కలేదని భాదపడుతూ నా ఊహల పల్లకిలో నువ్వే  ఊయలలు  ఊగుతూ ఓ  కమ్మని అనుభూతిని పంచావు 

నయవంపుల వయ్యరంతో సొగసైన నీ కంటి చూపులతో 

నా మనసుకు ప్రేమ అనే  మాటనే ప్రసాదించావు అటువంటి దెవతని నా గుండెలో కట్టిన ప్రేమలయానికి ఆహ్హనిస్తున్నా సుమా !

ఆ నీలి మేఘాలను తాకిన  నీ సవ్వడి 

ఆ నీరును తాకిన  నీ పరిమళం  

ఆ పక్షుల గుసగుసల నీ చిలిపిమాటలు
